2/8/12/10-Standards this week are: ELA5R2, ElA5R1a, ELA5R1Li, ELA5R3a, ELA5R4c, ELA5R1h, ELA5R4a, ELA5C1g

This weeks skills are main idea, topic sentence, and supporting sentences. Spelling will resume after the CRCT. Instead we will be focusing on robust vocabulary. During this time, we will revisit many types of figurative language. Vocabulary words to focus on this week are: scours, appropriate, practical, portable, circulate, protrude, boisterous, deduction, fickle, and measly. Students will use dictionaries for definitions, write sentences and stories with these words.
